We talked to Angelina’s towing company who controls Rite Aids parking lot and secured parking for the day in the Rite Aid Parking Lot!!! We’re good to park in there Saturday from 11-6. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

Annual Retirees Christmas Luncheon at This Old House will be Saturday 12/6/25. Hope to see everyone there!

The return of Engine 6 after being placed Out Of Service for 5 years. Welcome Back to a vital and legendary Philly Firefighting Engine Company since 03/15/1871.

The reactivation of Engine 6 and reopening of our station will be Thursday January 9th at 11am!!! There will be a Ribbon Cutting ceremony and we would like to invite active and retired members as well as families and neighbors of the community to join us in celebrating the return of Engine 6.

Do to Ladder 16s station being under renovations this year we will be postponing our annual Retirees Christmas Luncheon. We have a tentative date of January 5th reopening of the station. We are going to plan a Luncheon for the reopening of the station and the reactivation of Engine 6 for all active and retirees members of This Old House! As soon as we have any info we will post it here on the page. Happy holidays to everyone and we hope to see you soon!

No word yet on this years Christmas Luncheon that usually occurs on the 1st Saturday in December. I know that L-16 has been housed at E-28 because of reconstruction of the apparatus floor in hopes E-6 will return to service. The Dinosaurs really look forward to this event every year so I hope it’s happening ( if possible)
