The 17th Police District Advisory Council (PDAC) is a collaborative group comprised of civilian volunteers and police employees established to facilitate maximum cooperation and communication between the Police Department and the communities it serves. The Mission of the 17th Police District Advisory Council (PDAC) is to serve as a liaison between the community and the police to reduce fear and incidence of crime and enhance the quality of life in our communities.
The 17th District community relations team, in partnership with Brown’s family ShopRite and other community organizations packed over 800 Thanksgiving baskets for distribution to families in need earlier today.

The 17th District is supporting our local community during this time of uncertainty with helping to collect and distribute food to the community pantries listed on flyer. If you wish to support you are welcomed and encouraged to drop off items to the 17th District, 1202 S. 20th St. Phila PA 19146. We have the capacity to store perishable and non-perishable items. There is a drop-off box located in the lobby and perishable goods can be turned into the front desk. We appreciate all donations as we strive to alleviate some of communities concerns, especially around food insecurity.
