We had argument yesterday in the case filed to reverse the City Commissioners' decision to deviate from the Election Code's requirement that the candidate with the most votes for Committeeperson be certified as the winner. Today we received an order granting our request. We expect the Commissioners to appeal.

Excellent evening at the , honoring two individuals who have dedicated their lives to the people of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, George Bochetto, Esq. the recipient of the William A. Meehan Public Service Award and and PA State Treasurer, , the recipient of the Mary Tierney Public Service Award. It was a privilege to be there to celebrate these great Pennsylvanians.

PECO has proposed raising electric bills about $20/month and natural gas bills about $14/month on average.

They say the increases are needed to upgrade infrastructure and maintain reliability as demand rises.

The real question isn’t whether upgrades are needed. It’s why the radical politicians stopped them from being built sooner.
