Our gorgeous roses are cheery pops of color on a grey day! Celebration of the Roses is ~rain or shine~ this Saturday, May 23, from 11-3 PM. See you in the garden! 🌸

Each day brings more roses, and we’re right at peak bloom! Enjoy a gorgeous evening in the garden tonight during our extended hours. Wyck’s grounds will be open until 7 PM.

The forecast may include heat, rain, and everything in-between, but the garden is beautiful, rain or shine.

The garden is open until 7pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Celebration of the Roses rain or shine from 11am-3pm Saturday.
Extended garden hours until 7pm next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, ending with Rose and Roses on Thursday 5/28!

Enjoy these gorgeous blooms and more: free entry to the grounds and gardens is available Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM-4 PM, and Saturdays from 12-4! 🌸

We are thrilled to be honored by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia with a Grand Jury Award for our Exterior Restoration Project, and honored to share the award with the project team Heritage Conservation Collective, Mark B. Thompson Associates, and Dan Bosin Associates.

Last night, we were thrilled to welcome Penn PhD candidate Julia Bouwkamp to Wyck for our annual women’s history month lecture. Julia gave a wonderful talk entitled “Science and the Single Woman,” addressing the scientific and cultural constructions of spinster stereotypes in the 18th and 19th centuries, and led an excellent discussion following the lecture.

Our first tiny blooms of the season are here! With this sunny day, the crocuses and snowdrops have burst out across the property. 🌸
