After 34 years of dedicated service to the City of Philadelphia, we celebrate the retirement of Raymond Jackson.
From beginning his career as a Semi-Skilled Laborer in 1992 to serving as a Street Crew Chief II, Waste Collection District Supervisor, creator of Special Collections, and Relief Assistant Chief of Operations, Raymond has spent more than three decades helping keep Philadelphia clean and moving forward.
He also helped launch the very first Future Track, contributing to an initiative focused on developing the next generation of talent and leaders.
Raymond, your knowledge, leadership, dedication and commitment have left a lasting mark on the Philadelphia Department of Sanitation and the people we serve.
On behalf of the entire Department of Sanitation: thank you for 34 years of service.
Congratulations on your retirement, Raymond Jackson. May this next chapter be filled with happiness, laughter, rest and all the things you’ve earned along the way.
Enjoy retirement, Ray. You’ve earned it.
