Join us Monday, Oct. 19 at 1401 JFK Blvd. for Winterization & Weatherization, presented by the Energy Coordinating Agency Philadelphia as part of the Aging with HIV Partnership series with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health-Division of HIV Health and The Health Federation of Philadelphia.
ECA will walk through winterization toolkits and home energy resources built for older adults aging with HIV.

Tips to stay cool
Stay hydrated: 💧 Drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks.

When you’re outside: ☀️️ AVOID working, exercising, or playing outside during the hottest part of the day (usually noon to 5 p.m.).

At home: 🏠 Use air conditioners and fans.
If you use a fan, make sure your windows are open to release trapped hot air.

⏰ Remember: Never leave older people, children, or pets alone in cars.
Check on older adults who live alone, also ReadyPhiladelphia can notify you of emergencies.

Be aware of cooling centers: ❄️ Libraries, community centers, and recreation centers
