Join Penn's African-American Resource Center (AARC) this evening for a virtual webinar: "A Closer Look: How Racism Became the new Pandemic."
"When America gets a cold, we get the Pneumonia!" Black and indigenous communities are impacted by COVID 19 more severely and at rates much higher than we exist in the population. We will explore the reasons for this by reviewing the historical context as well as generational trauma in the Black body. Let's take a closer look at how racism is the real pandemic.
Join in at TODAY @ 6 PM over Zoom (info on image) or streaming on African-American Resource Center (AARC)'s page.

We are working hard to create a sense of belonging and support for our communities during this stressful time. We ask you to please take our short survey (6 questions, takes less than 5 minutes) so that we can know how we are doing and how we can best support you during this time of virtual services. We invite graduate/professional students, undergraduates, staff members, faculty, and community members to participate. Feel free to share the survey link with others--all responses are kept anonymous. Thank you!
