For 17 weeks, Kristen and Joe called Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia home while their daughter, Layla, received specialized care at CHOP after being born at just 22 weeks gestation.
During that time, they spent every day by Layla’s side. The House provided comfort, community, and moments of normalcy for their family—including their 3-year-old daughter, Aurora, who found friendship, fun, and plenty of smiles along the way.
“The House has been a huge source of comfort and support for us,” Kristen shared.
