Young Democrats Demand Swearing-in of Congresswoman-Elect Adelita Grijalva Amid Ongoing Shutdown

Today the Supreme Court ruled against Affirmative Action, enabling discrimination within the higher education admissions process. We stand against this decision, and hope to fight toward a future that does not solely serve the wealthy, White elite.

We did not expect to have to make this post again but here we are, experiencing another senseless loss of life in Louisville, KY today. Our hearts ache for the families impacted by this shooting, and we firmly stand beside the Louisville community at this time.

AZ is in dire need of gun safety reform, but PACs like the NRA PVF stand in the way. We hope to shine a light on the influence that the NRA’s money has had on AZ politics.

No words can represent just how heartbreaking it is to hear that another senseless shooting has occurred in our country. We stand with the Covenant School Community, and call for AZ’s leaders to work to prevent an incident like this from happening in our state.
