Straight A’s Deserve a SWEET Celebration! 🍪🌟

We are SO proud of our 3rd–8th grade Bobcats who earned Principal’s List for Quarter 1! 🎉📚 These students worked hard to earn straight A’s in ALL of their classes.

What better way to celebrate than with warm chocolate chip cookies 🍪, cold milk 🥛, music 🎶, and some fun with friends?!

Congratulations, Bobcats! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence are shining bright! Keep up the AMAZING work! 💙

🐾💙🖤 WHAT A WEEK AT SF! 🖤💙🐾

From incredible student learning happening across campus to celebrating our Bobcats with the TRACKS Trolley and end-of-quarter TRACKS parties, there was no shortage of excitement and smiles!

🔤 Our kindergarten Bobcats showed off their letter knowledge during their adorable Kindergarten Letter Parade, and our amazing teachers got a little extra love with a surprise visit from the Woot Woot Wagon!

We have SO much to celebrate and even more to be proud of! Our students have worked hard, our teachers have given their all, and our entire SF community continues to make this school such a special place! Have a wonderful fall break Bobcats!

Celebrating High Achievement at Sonoran Foothills! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to recognize two SF teachers and the students whose hard work led to exceptional results on last year’s state assessments!

👏 Mrs. Miller, 5th Grade ELA — recognized for achieving a Median Growth Percentile of over 66% on AASA.

👏 Mrs. Cawley, 8th Grade Science — recognized for achieving greater than 80% proficiency on AzSCI!

Superintendent Dr. Finch visited Sonoran Foothills to personally recognize and celebrate these outstanding accomplishments.

These results represent more than a score. They reflect strong instruction, student perseverance, high expectations, and a commitment to learning. A HUGE congratulations to Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Cawley, and all of the Bobcats who took these assessments and helped achieve these incredible results! DVUSD

Happy National Custodial Appreciation Day! 🐾💙

Today we are celebrating two incredible members of our Bobcat family, Ms. Jenny and Ms. Sierra!

We are so grateful for all they do each and every day to keep Sonoran Foothills clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff. Their hard work, care, and dedication often happen behind the scenes, but the impact they make is felt throughout our entire campus. DVUSD

7th grade students recently completed their Passion Projects! Students selected a book that interested them, explored its content through research and reading, and then created a project that demonstrated their understanding and personal connection to the text.

From creative presentations to unique projects, students had the opportunity to take ownership of their learning while showcasing their creativity, critical thinking, and understanding of their chosen book.

2nd graders reviewed 4 beat rhythms by playing Kaboom in music! Students clapped and said rhythm patterns hoping their pile didn’t go KABOOM! We had fun, laughed and solidified what we learned in 1st grade as we prepare for the new rhythms of 2nd grade.

Adam Sandler Day was a HIT! Our Bobcats showed up in their best oversized tees, baggy shorts, sweats, and sneakers, and the rainy morning made the comfy vibes even better. 🌧️😂

We’re loving the Spirit Week energy, Bobcats! Keep it going and get ready for tomorrow with your favorite college team/school!
