What a night celebrating our amazing Class of 2026! 🎓 From memories made to milestones reached, tonight was all about recognizing a truly special group of students. We are beyond proud of the leaders, athletes, artists, scholars, and friends they’ve become. The future is bright and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish. Congratulations, Class of 2026! ✨

We have been keeping a secret this last week, waiting for this to air. Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Villamar on a well deserved recognition and award!

How do you like them apples?

Sonoran Foothills School math teacher Hylari Villamar is the 3rd DVUSD teacher to win a Silver Apple Award in the past six weeks! Ms. Villamar was featured on azfamily 3TV CBS 5 this morning, and presented with a check for $1,000 from Desert Financial Credit Union before being saluted by the entire 7th grade class!

Our final TRACKS Assembly of the year was one to remember! 💙🐾

Today we welcomed back our graduating seniors from the Class of 2026 , former Sonoran Foothills students who promoted from 8th grade in 2022. Seeing them walk our halls again and hearing about their journeys ahead was incredibly inspiring for our current students.

From joining the Navy, studying forensic science and criminal justice, pursuing careers in education, attending college, and competing in collegiate athletics… our alumni are heading toward amazing futures!

We are so proud of the young adults they have become and grateful they came back to inspire the next generation of Bobcats.

What an incredible night celebrating the talent, dedication, and hard work of our amazing band students! 🎶👏

From our beginning musicians to our advanced performers, all of our bands truly shined during tonight’s end-of-year concert. With 95 students in band across 5th–8th grade, the growth, confidence, and musicianship on display was something to be proud of!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Brooksby, whose passion, energy, and love for music pours into every student. Her dedication absolutely shines through in these performances, and tonight was a phenomenal showcase of all that our students have accomplished this year.

Tonight we celebrated Ms. Santiago, Special Education Teacher at Sonoran Foothills, for being recognized as one of Deer Valley’s first-year teachers honored as DVUSD Rookie of the Year (5 total teachers in the District earned this honor this year)! 🌟In her first year she has made an incredible impact at SF. Ms. Santiago is a bubble of positivity and is committed to the learning and growth of all students!

Congratulations to all other rookie of the year and teacher of the year honorees. We are grateful for the heart and dedication! 🤍📝

🎶✨ MUSIC TURNED GLOW PARTY THIS WEEK WITH MS. HALL! ✨🎶

Talk about a transformation! Ms. Hall completely turned the music room into a glowing wonderland filled with neon lights, glow sticks, drumming, dancing, music games, and nonstop smiles. 💜🩵💚🩷

This week’s theme was “Let’s Glow,” and our students absolutely LOVED every minute of it! From glow-in-the-dark drumming to dance party fun, the energy and excitement were unforgettable.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing parents who donated supplies and helped make this incredible experience possible for our students. Your generosity helped create memories our Bobcats will be talking about for a long time! 🐾✨

And a special shoutout to Ms. Hall for her creativity, energy, and dedication to making learning so engaging and magical for kids. We are in awe of this setup! DVUSD
