🎉 $900,000 FOR SCHROEPPEL TOWN PARK! 🎉

I’m incredibly excited to share that the Town of Schroeppel has been awarded $900,000 through New York State’s Green Innovation Grant Program, administered by the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation, for improvements at William J. Farley Jr. Community Park!

Our park is a cornerstone of our community—a place for youth sports, the playground, walking, exercise, celebrations and community events. Unfortunately, flooding has been a problem for decades, leaving fields underwater, canceling kids’ games and practices, flooding portions of the walking path, and sometimes making areas impossible to mow.

This grant will allow us to make significant drainage and green infrastructure improvements to address these long-standing problems and improve water quality.

And there’s even more to celebrate: with this award, the Town of Schroeppel has secured $1,032,000 in grant funding this year! 🎉

I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’re making and excited to see these investments benefit our community for years to come.

One Community. Moving Schroeppel Forward.
