The consular team from the Dutch consulate-general in San Francisco will be visiting Phoenix, where you will be able to apply for a Dutch passport or ID card.

After making your appointment, the consulate-general will provide you with more information about your appointment and the exact location.
Surcharge: There is an additional fee of € 26.30 per application if you apply for a passport or ID card at this location.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will travel to Arizona and California next week for an economic mission on semiconductors. The mission is organized together with Flanders.
A delegation of 45 Dutch and Flemish companies and knowledge institutes that specialize in the semiconductor industry participate in this mission. Prime Minister Rutte will be accompanied by Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon and Minister Micky Adriaansens of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
The visit takes place December 4-6 and is led by Ingrid Thijssen of the Dutch employers’ organization VNO-NCW and Flanders Trade and Invest. Goal is to connect with the semiconductor and tech industry in Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay Area to exchange knowledge, seize opportunities and accelerate innovation.

The Pop-Up Consulate West Coast Tour is coming to [YOUR CITY] on [YOUR DATES]!
Dutch nationals in the Western US can easily renew their passports near their home this fall. Responding to the increased demand for Dutch passports, the Consulate General will visit an unprecedented six locations within just two months: Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Albuquerque & San Diego.
Deputy Consul General Agnes Koppelman expressed her excitement about the new milestone, stating, "I am thrilled that through this traveling passport service, we can support hundreds of Dutch citizens locally. The Dutch government is dedicated to innovation and enhancing services for Dutch citizens abroad. Netherlands Pop-Up Consulate tour brings convenient passport renewal to Dutch nationals across the US West Coast
(San Francisco, August 3, 2023) - Dutch nationals residing in the Western United States will have the opportunity to easily renew their passports this fall.

Great news for Dutch nationals in Los Angeles and Southern California: you can now renew your passports locally. From June 27 passport services will be available in partnership with VFS Global at their Beverly Hills office.
Dutch nationals in the region will no longer need to travel to the consulate in San Francisco to apply for or renew passports
Honorary Consul Reinout Oerlemans, who represents the Dutch government in LA, is thrilled with the development: "This passport service in Los Angeles fulfills the long-standing wish of Dutch citizens for local passport services. The Dutch government is committed to constant innovation and improvement of services for Dutch citizens abroad. From May 31st to June 2nd, the Netherlands Pop-up Consulate will be in Phoenix, at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. If you need paspoort photos, LOLA PHOTO STUDIO, 327 E McDowell Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85004, will take those at a reasonable price ($15). After you make your appointment, you will see all the details of what is required.

There are no coronavirus-related restrictions for entering the Netherlands for travellers who live in the EU/Schengen area or in a country participating in the EU travel rules scheme. The EU entry ban applies to other travellers who live outside the EU/Schengen area, but there are some exceptions.
