NTAG Phoenix recruiter MM2 Gabriel Cacayuran joined family and friends in celebrating the 100th birthday of Leonard Aaron Schwartz, a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Schwartz served as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate Second Class and survived the sinking of the USS St. Lo. A century of life marked by resilience, service, and commitment to country.

Students stepped into the role of Sailors during a damage control drill, applying the firefighting skills they are learning in class to a Navy scenario.
