It is a very sad day for the State of Arizona and our nation with the sudden passing of Attorney General Mark Brnovich.
We met Mark and Susan shortly after we moved to Arizona in the fall of 2001. Later, in January 2004, Mark helped me with a belated surprise party for my husband’s birthday. See attached photo of better times.
Before we both entered public service, our families carpooled together to and from our kids’ elementary school.
When I served in the House, I worked with General Brnovich on consumer protection and anti-human trafficking legislation.
Mark had such an upbeat demeanor and loved to joke around. Our family is devastated by today’s news. Our prayers are with Susan and his two amazing daughters.❤️

On Saturday morning, I pre‑filed SCR 1001, the first Senate bill for the upcoming legislative session, focused on a top priority for Senate Republicans: election integrity to strengthen trust in Arizona’s elections.
Over the past three legislative sessions, I have introduced legislation to ban foreign donations in Arizona elections and to bring "Florida-style" timely results to the state. SCR 1001 builds on those efforts and allows voters to decide the issue directly. If approved by the Arizona Legislature and passed by voters on the November 2026 ballot, SCR 1001 will secure Arizona's elections by:
· Requiring documented proof of citizenship before a ballot is issued
· Ending early voting at 7:00 p.m. on the Friday before the general election, ensuring clear and prompt processing
· Requiring a government-issued ID for both in-person and early-ballot voting
Election integrity is paramount. A recent poll from Center Square shows broad national support for voter ID requirements – evidence that Americans overwhelmingly want stronger standards that ensure only lawful voters participate in the process.
Don’t we have a duty to restore confidence in our elections by banning foreign influence and ensuring all individuals requesting to vote provide documented proof of citizenship before they receive a ballot?
Please contact your elected state legislators to encourage a YES vote come January 2026.

I am proud to share that on Friday night I was awarded the 2025 “Legislator of the Year” by ABATE of Arizona in recognition of my leadership on issues vital to motorcyclists’ rights, freedom, and safety.
Thank you ABATE of Arizona for the recognition! ❤️
"Senator Bolick has earned this award every year she has served in the Legislature, with the exception of her freshman term when she was recognized as an Honorable Mention. Her long-standing record reflects consistent support for protecting riders from government overreach, including her advocacy for safer roadways and her push for real world transportation solutions. Senator Bolick exemplifies the kind of legislative leadership Arizona’s motorcyclists need. She has shown that safety and liberty can go hand-in-hand.”
~ Michael Infanzon, ABATE Legislative Director
About ABATE of Arizona ABATE is the state’s largest motorcycle rights organization, dedicated to protecting riders’ freedoms, promoting roadway safety, and ensuring fair treatment under the law.

I agree with both Tucker Carlson and Charlie Kirk: we need to deliver on the promises of home ownership so the next generation can start building wealth and having families.
To fix the housing crisis, bring back basic starter homes.

If our Founding Fathers were alive today, they would be shocked to see the labyrinth of planners involved in each step of the home-building process.

Let’s make our elections work in Arizona.
SHAWNNA LM BOLICK: The Fight For Election Reform In Arizona
Last month, Maricopa County broke ground on a new state of the art tabulation and election center where our county’s ballots are counted. Unfortunately, if the Arizona state legislature doesn’t modernize our current election laws this new state of the art facility won’t be worth the taxpayer f...

To all of you who love your pets… ❤️🐾
🚨SIGNED INTO LAW🚨
SB 1658, sponsored by Senator Shawnna Bolick, helps protect our furry, four-legged friends from neglect and abuse by specifying the most basic care required, under state law, which must be provided by pet owners or pet caregivers. The bill adds penalties for intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly failing to provide medical attention necessary to prevent unreasonable suffering to any pet under the person's custody or control.

Today, I had the pleasure of congratulating the Northwest Christian High School Crusaders varsity boys volleyball team for winning their division as conference champions with an outstanding 16-2 overall record via a Senate proclamation.
What an incredible season, congrats! 🙌🏻

Please let the AZ GOP House leadership know you support SB 1658 and would like the entire House to vote on this important measure tomorrow.
The most recent disturbing case of animal abuse, where several dogs were left without food, resorting to feeding on the remains of deceased canines on a property in Gila Bend, highlights the significance of this bill. It's disheartening to see misinformation clouding a straightforward measure that simply aims to do right by our animals.
Join me in urging Speaker Montenegro to move this bill forward for a vote.
Thank you to our law enforcement and prosecuting agencies for working with the legislature since 2023 to craft this bill.
