Our hunger strike has moved to Washington, DC, and we would love if you could join us to support! We will be having a rally tomorrow at Lafayette Square from 10:30-11:00.

It shouldn’t take young people starving themselves for 6 days to make and Congress do their job and protect our democracy, but since they haven’t yet prioritized passing the by the end of the year, this is what we need to do.

Days 3 and 4 of the are supposed to be the hardest - we’re on day 4. We’ve spent much of the past days resting and conserving our energy so that we can continue on. Our stomachs are empty, but our hearts are full of hope that our Senators and will prioritise passing the .

After our first day of hunger striking and our first press conference of the week, we’re feeling physically tired, but emotionally resilient and committed to the urgency of our campaign. We will keep striking until the Senate passes the .

Today, our hunger strike begins. This morning, 20 young people began the to demand that the Senate pass the this year. They will not eat until the Senate listens to Americans of all political backgrounds and passes meaningful legislation to get dark money out of politics and protect the right to vote.
