High temperatures this afternoon were right around daily normals at all 3 of our main climate sites.

Early morning low temperatures were generally in the upper 60s to low 70s across the area. Expect afternoon highs in the upper 90s to around 100 degrees under sunny skies.

Temperatures will warm into a slightly above normal category this week, though nothing very unusual for early June. Mostly clear skies and dry conditions will persist.

High temperatures this afternoon were in the lower 90s at Phoenix, Yuma, and El Centro, or around 6-8 degrees below normal. Daily normals in Phoenix have now reached the 100 degree mark.

Morning lows were once again several degrees below normal for the date, mostly in the 60s across the lower deserts. Expect a warming trend through early next week, with morning lows increasing to a near normal range and afternoon highs reaching up to 5°F above normal.

Temperatures across the region this afternoon were between 10-15 degrees below normal, a welcome sight as we progress through the back half of spring. Without some help from clouds and rainfall, this likely will be the last 80 degree highs for the next several months.
