Yesterday, in my capacity as a Deputy Registrar with Maricopa County, I attended the Naturalization Ceremony at SMCC and watched 147 people from 45 different countries become American citizens. What a tremendously moving experience!
My favorite part of the ceremony was getting to participate as all these new citizens recited the Pledge of Allegiance for the first time as citizens. 🇺🇲
