In honor of the Mother Road, Arizona Film & Digital Media is excited to share screening dates for the Documentary Route 66: The Main Street of America, by John Paget and First + Main Films. Watch and Share the Trailer below. :)

The production filmed along the route in Arizona and captures the history, people, and communities impacted by our nation’s historic roadway that turns 100 on November 11, 2026.

The movie will be celebrated with screenings from Flagstaff to Kingman, Oct. 10-15, 2026.

The Flagstaff International Film Festival returns August 1-2 to Theatrikos Theatre and the Orpheum Theater, celebrating the power of storytelling and the art of cinema.

This year’s special guest is acclaimed animator Carolyn Gair, known for her work with Warner Bros., Pixar, and Disney. She will lead a free animation workshop on Sunday, August 2, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.

Arizona Film & Digital Media is delighted to attend and support this year’s 16th Annual PRESCOTT FILM FESTIVAL, July 13-18! 🎬🎥🙌

Director Matthew Earl Jones and Program Manager Ramsay Wharton will discuss Arizona’s growing film industry and film commission resources at 10am on Tuesday, July 14th during a Workshop at the Box Theater College.

The Opening Night comedic feature, The Fisherman, begins at 7pm. You’ve got to watch this trailer. 😂

And we’re excited to see on the schedule for July 18, the Feature (Indie) Documentary, Outriding the Devil, that was filmed in part in Arizona at Mescal Movie Set in Benson. 🙌🤠

Summer movie night! 🍿 Today are the last showings in Avondale of the movie Choir Practice Movie featuring Danny Trejo. Harkins Theatres has also extended its run of the action, crime, thriller through Thursday, June 25, 2026 at its Tucson Spectrum theater location. The movie was filmed on location in Tucson.

Congratulations SallyShamrell, Monsoon Production Services production and the entire cast, crew, and local businesses who supported the film’s production in Arizona. 🎥🎬🙌👏👏
