PRC is seeking nominations for community heroes to be recognized at our Phoenix Revitalization Corporation Annual Board of Directors meeting on June 25, 2024. We invite our partners to submit nominations from all across Phoenix.
A community hero is anyone who works hard and has used innovative and successful ways to improve the Quality of Life for a person, group or the community as a whole. A community hero could be an individual, community leader, teacher, neighborhood group, first responder, police, firefighters, non-profit organization or a local business.
Exemplify the spirit of community - outstanding contributions with actions that support the “Hearts & History” of neighborhoods.
Work / volunteer experience that includes improving the physical conditions in neighborhoods
Demonstrate / supports movements that put people first

Through the free, virtual program (available in Spanish and English), you will learn about the effects of urban heat and how you can take action to reduce extreme heat and improve your community.
