The Lincoln Club of Orange County put 94.5 million on a screen at its 2025 annual dinner, but what does that number actually mean? CalMatters reported Lincoln Media Foundation brought in about $3.88 million in 2024, while the Lincoln Club itself reported just over $3 million.

So if 94.5 million is not annual revenue, then the public deserves to know what it represents. Reach? Spending? Donor impact? Media impressions? Connected money?

This matters because CalMatters also reported that Lincoln Media Foundation uses targeted web ads and local style news sites to shape political narratives. That means this is bigger than one dinner.

This is a network with money, media strategy, right leaning political influence, Spanish language messaging, and cultural proximity to mariachi institutions. And when culture, community trust, political donors, and media influence start overlapping, transparency matters.

Because if they are using our culture to build trust while funding narratives that impact our communities, we have every right to ask questions. 👀📲🎺💰🗳️
