AAAs Honored with Prestigious National Awards

The 2016 National Mature Media Awards winners have been announced and we are pleased to report that publications produced by Phoenix-based Area Agency on Aging, Region One (AAA, Region One) and the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) were honored.
This prestigious awards program annually recognizes the best marketing, communications and educational materials and programs for older adults.
AAA, Region One received a Silver Award for Sensitivity with all Generation (SWAG) and a Merit Award for Elder Resource Guide. PCA received a Gold Award for Teaching and Learning at Graterford Prison, a Silver Award for Is This Thing On? and a Bronze Award for Crusading Librarian Helped Found Nation's Only Library Dedicated Entirely to HIV/AIDS.
n4a and two of the programs it administers—the Eldercare Locator and the National Aging & Disability Transportation Center (NADTC)—also received honors. n4a received a Silver Award for its 2014-2015 Annual Report and Merit Awards were given to Before You Give Up the Keys: Create a Roadmap for Transportation Independence (Eldercare Locator) and Falls Prevention Awareness in Public Transportation (NADTC).
