LOOSE DOG sighting
Friends, there is a little tan dog that has been running around the dog park neighborhood for several days. It has a collar and appears to have tags. It runs when it sees a person. If you know anyone missing a pup, please send us a message or comment on this post.

This page is presented by the Friends of Hance Dog Park to provide information and community for friends and users of Hance Dog Park in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is not a City of Phoenix page, and we do not manage, repair or run the park. Located along Culver Street between 3rd and 5th avenues (between Roosevelt St. and McDowell Rd.), the Hance Park Dog Park is the first urban dog park built in Phoenix by the City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation Department. Opened October, 2013.
PARK CLOSURE UNTIL JULY 1st 2024:
Per the City of Phoenix Parks Department...
" Additionally, we have reached that time of the year again... Summer Annual Maintenance will begin for all our grassy areas here at Hance Park this month. This includes both Large and Small Dog Parks. Thus, both our Large and Small Dog Parks will be closed starting May 20th until July 1st, 2024 for our annual summer maintenance. This weekend City park PARKING LOTS will be CLOSED (including the dog park). There will be limited street parking on Culver, on 5th Ave north of Culver St. It's forecast to be close to 100 degrees, so be sure sidewalk is cool enough for your pup's winter-tender paws. Sidewalks will be coolest in the morning or well after sunset. Be safe! 🐾
