The L.H. Chalmer Residence in Los Olivos as it appeared in the Sunday morning edition of The Arizona Republican on May 14, 1916. The stately home once graced the Northwest corner of McDowell Road and Buena Avenue (now known as 3rd Street) on the site where the Los Olivos Car Wash is today.
I wonder what on earth the "Country Club" Carnival was and why don't we still do a carnival in Midtown? How fun would that be!
