Food & Clothing Distribution
Through our Lad’s Lunch program, partnerships with St. Mary’s Food Bank and our newest partner QT convenience stores, we provide healthy lunches daily and emergency food boxes for individuals and families serving over 2,000 people each month. Our clothing warehouse provides clothing, shoes, toiletries and business apparel to men, women and children free of charge. Many of the people who come to FIBCO avail themselves of all three of our services. Our food and clothing programs allow people to allot the funds they would have used on these items to other areas of their budgets. For Food Box Registration

Ujima House is a residential facility purposed to meet the needs of teen and parenting girls ages 14-18. At Ujima House, our residents come from adverse backgrounds and are placed in a family atmosphere to model appropriate family life. They have a mentor and receive counseling to strengthen and build core and personal values. Education is critical in preparation for college along with receiving additional life skill support. The Ujima House brings this concept to reality by ensuring that every step of the way the programs and workshop offerings guide our teens in the direction of excellence. From financial planning to furthering their education, one on one goal advisement to career assistance, Ujima House wants nothing but the best for our residents and we strive to encourage and empower each and every teen that crosses our path. PAAAC
Preserving our African/African-American Connection
PAAAC’s purpose is to reach Africans living in and moving to the Valley of the Sun and establish loving, learning, caring and sharing relationships in the spirit of the FIBC/ FIBCO mission. To assist African-born members of First Institutional Baptist Church to integrate and acclimate into active membership with FIBC at all levels of participation. To encourage Africans who are immigrants and/or refugees/involuntary migrants to become self-sustaining. To connect and partner with Africans living in the Valley of the Sun, especially those who are immigrants and/or refugees as well as African, African-related and immigrant/refugee-related organizations.
