Moon Mountain Elementary Moon Mountain affords students a rich curriculum aligned to Arizona College and Career Ready Standards.

Moon Mountain Elementary School, in the Washington Elementary School District, serves nearly 800 prekindergarten through sixth grade children in the neighborhood bordered by Interstate 17 to the west, 12th Avenue to the east, a northern border that is typically Thunderbird but does goes as far north as Mandalay Lane and 19th Avenue and generally Sweetwater to the south. Moon Mountain uses Make Your day as our schoolwide discipline plan, which is based on a philosophy that promotes development of an internal focus of control in students. 🎃🎃🎃 Moon Mountain is hosting our 2nd annual TRUNK OR TREAT event on Wednesday, October 21st! Plan to join us from 4:30 to 6:30 for a spooky good time! Get your costumes ready and plan to bring a bag to hold all of your treats! Cars will be decorated and parked in the parking lot and children can "trunk or treat" to each one, getting their punch card punched along the way. MM students will get their punch cards in their classrooms and extra cards for siblings will be given out at the event. PTSA will be selling food and drinks in the cafeteria. It's going to be spooktacular! 🎃🎃🎃
