This month, we joined a local elementary school's first-ever Career and Vehicle Day! Yolanda, our Neighborhood Specialist for the area, visited nine classrooms and answered students' questions about what the City does, career pathways, and more. She also brought along 300 goodie bags to pass out throughout the day! A big thank you to the school for including our Neighborhood Specialists in the day.

Our neighborhoods are at their best when residents lead the way. These Love Your Block projects show what happens when neighbors work together to improve their community spaces and create real change that makes their neighborhood a better place to live.

Now it’s your turn... If you're part of a registered neighborhood group and have an idea for an improvement in your neighborhood, the Love Your Block Grants program is accepting applications until May 27. Find out more about the LYB program and grant criteria: https://bit.ly/4tDbM41

This past weekend, NSD helped support Dia de los Niños at Paradise Valley Community College! With over 1,300 attendees, the event offered arts and cultural activities, a bike rodeo, community resources, free books, and even featured a Mariachi youth group.
