🌿 Our 6th graders compared photosynthesis with more and less. They determined the more light you give a plant, the more oxygen it gives off, which means more photosynthesis is occurring. 🧑‍🔬

Matt’s commitment to helping every student feel supported, valued and ready to learn is evident in everything he does. He takes the time to build genuine relationships with students and understands the needs behind their behaviors. Matt’s patience, compassion and respect help students develop regulation strategies, make positive choices and successfully return to the classroom. His exceptional customer service also makes a meaningful difference in the school community. Matt is approachable, dependable and always willing to step in when support is needed. His professional and compassionate communication with families ensures they feel heard, informed and included. Matt listens carefully, explains concerns clearly and works collaboratively with families and staff to find solutions that support student success. His use of behavior data further demonstrates his commitment to student achievement. By monitoring progress, identifying patterns, celebrating growth and collaborating with grade-level teams, Matt helps remove barriers to learning and creates opportunities for students to thrive academically and socially. Additionally, he consistently approaches challenging situations with a positive, team-oriented mindset, helping staff develop practical supports and solutions for students. Matt’s colleagues describe him as dependable, patient and dedicated.

Our Thunderbolts have been working hard to earn their Bolt Bucks by showing positive behavior, making great choices, and following our school expectations! 🖤⚡️

They had so much fun cashing in their hard-earned bucks for some awesome prizes! 🎉🛍️ We love seeing our students learn that great choices pay off!

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping to run the shop as well! We couldn’t do it without you!
