Webinar Topic:
To provide a professional development opportunity to GateWay students, faculty and staff. Given the current status with the pandemic and the restrictions to travel and/or have large gatherings, such as events on campuses, we envision a virtual event, perhaps a couple hours long either early/late October, when the semester is well under way.

Dr. Bledsoe has been a guest speaker for the Maricopa MEN annual conference and is inspirational, engaging, and very motivating. We also believe that in today's environment not only impacted by the pandemic, but also with the effects of social injustice, such a presentation will be most relevant, and much needed. As part of his presentation, we will request deeper discussion with the topic of academic achievement within the minority populations; success, retention and completion and how to bridge the gap for people of color.
