The 198th Regional Support Group is a brigade level organization in the Arizona Army National Guard headquartered at Papago Park Military Reservation.

It consists of the 158th and 153rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalions and Headquarters Company. While this is an open forum, it's also a family friendly one, so please keep your comments and wall posts clean. The 198th Regional Support Group recently completed crew-served weapons qualification at Florence Military Reservation.
By training on the M249 SAW, the M240B machine gun and M2A1 .50-caliber machine gun, these soldiers ensure the Arizona Army National Guard remains a combat-proven, agile, and lethal force. This operational experience is a critical part of our commitment to maintaining a high standard of readiness for both domestic and overseas missions.

On January 10, 2026 the brigade colors were passed as the 198th Regional Support Group (RSG) held a formal change of command ceremony at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix. We want to express our deepest gratitude to U.S. Army Col. Margaret “Meg” Bielenberg for her exceptional service and leadership. As we turn the page, we are proud to welcome U.S. Army Lt. Col. Today we observe the 84th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and honor the 2,403 service members whose lives were lost.
The 108th Army Saxophone Quartet helped and salute their sacrifice with a musical performance at the 84th-anniversary ceremony December 6, 2025 at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza in Phoenix.
