The Arizona State Board of Education is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Student Advisory Panel. The purpose of the Student Advisory Panel is to be able to share student input and insight with the Board on relevant topics, introduce students to the workings of state government related to education and provide students with the opportunity to elevate key concerns and issues to the Board.

The panel will include up to ten 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in any of the Arizona school environments (district, charter, private, online district / charter school, and homeschool or ESA Home Education).

Meetings of the Student Advisory Panel will occur monthly. Typically, meetings will be held virtually, however once a quarter, the panel will gather in-person in Phoenix. Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month (excluding November) and are tentatively scheduled from 4:30-6:00pm.

The application will close on Tuesday September 5th at 5:00pm. Applicants selected to serve on the panel will be notified by Monday September 11th. Please note that parental approval will be required for students to participate.
