We love seeing our 4th and 5th grade leaders step up to support our 1st and 2nd grade readers! It’s pretty cool to watch our older students become heroes for our younger learners, building confidence, sharing their skills, and showing what it means to be a Crockett Bear. ❤️💛

🎉 A special surprise for Crockett Elementary School’s Ms. Erin Heath! 💙✨

Ms. Heath was selected to receive a $500 Arizona Public Service - APS Supply My Classroom Award, which will help provide additional supplies and resources for her classroom. 📚✏️

This recognition comes after Ms. Heath was named Arizona Department of Education English Learner Teacher of the Year last school year. We’re excited to see her receive another exciting honor!

Principal Sean Hannafin gathered Crockett’s fourth- and fifth-grade students in the courtyard for a special surprise when an APS representative arrived to share the news in person. The students joined in celebrating Ms. Heath and her award, making the moment even more memorable! 💙🐻

Congratulations, Ms. Heath! We’re so excited to celebrate you and this exciting recognition! 🌟

This weekend, we spent some time working on the Crockett Community Garden and getting it ready for the fall season!

We’re excited to see our parents and community members start enjoying this special space. Stay tuned for dates and times when the garden will be open to the community.

We’re also hoping you’ll consider volunteering and helping us make the Crockett Community Garden a special place for our students, families, and neighbors.

More to come soon! 🐻
