Leadership is measured by what gets solved. When critical services for nearly 60,000 Arizonans with developmental disabilities were at risk, the answer couldn't be more partisan gridlock.

I helped negotiate the bipartisan budget agreement that protected therapies, personal care, respite services, employment support, and independent living assistance.

Leadership means staying at the table, doing the hard work, and putting people ahead of politics.

Proud to present at Childhelp today and share some of the legislation I’ve been developing to strengthen protections for Arizona’s children.

It was wonderful to connect with Childhelp co-founder Sara O’Meara, Rachel Mitchell for Maricopa County Attorney, Representative Matt Gress, and Maricopa County Sheriff Sheridan.

Protecting our children takes more than good intentions. It takes collaboration, thoughtful policy, and a commitment to turning ideas into action.

Public safety starts by refusing to forget the victim.

Too often, public safety debates become abstract. For victims and families, the consequences are painfully real.

Arizona needs policies that protect children, hold violent offenders accountable, support law enforcement, and treat victims with dignity throughout the justice process.

Safety should never be reduced to a political talking point. It is a basic promise government owes every community.

From the bedside to the State Capitol, protecting patients and supporting those who care for them will always be a priority. ❤️🚁

I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS)!

As an ER nurse, I have seen firsthand the critical role air medical teams play in saving lives, especially when every second counts. These dedicated professionals provide a lifeline to patients and families across Arizona, particularly in our rural communities where access to emergency care can be challenging.

Supporting our first responders and the healthcare professionals who care for Arizonans has always been close to my heart.

Thank you to the Arizona AAMS Chapter for this meaningful recognition and, more importantly, for the lifesaving work you do every day. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue advocating for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

Every student deserves a clear path from the classroom to a meaningful future.

For some, that path is a four-year degree. For others, it is a skilled trade, technical credential, military service, entrepreneurship, or direct entry into a career.

Arizona should raise academic expectations while expanding real-world options so graduates are prepared to contribute, earn, and thrive.

They do not agree on every issue, but they know I listen, do the work, and stay focused on results for Arizona families.

When someone calls 911, an available ambulance can make all the difference. An ambulance should not be sidelined by a paperwork backlog.

I supported legislation that prevents inspection backlogs and paperwork delays from unnecessarily taking ambulances out of service.

This is practical government: maintain strong safety standards while making sure emergency resources are ready when communities need them.

Every taxpayer dollar should have to prove its value.

A state budget is a statement of priorities, funded by the people who earned every dollar government spends.

Fiscal responsibility means protecting essential services, demanding accountability, and refusing to treat taxpayers like an unlimited source of revenue.

Arizona families make tough choices every day. Government should be expected to do the same.
