Linda and Eileen's battle will help Bellair from being home to anything other than a golf course. Ahwatukee only needed 51% to agree to change the ccrs, Bellair needs 100% on the course, 90% of the rest to allow non golf related development.
Judge to Gee: Have Lakes course running in 2022 or pay $3.5M
Owner Wilson Gee’s company must pay $3.5 million in cumulative penalties if he does not have an 18-hole Ahwatukee Lakes Golf Course and all amenities restored and ready for duffers

Bellair Townhall Meeting. Next Wednesday will be our townhall meeting regarding the golf course. It will be a zoom meeting and you should be receiving an email with the instructions soon (and probably every day after). Be sure your email is on file with the office.
I am guessing we are probably going to have a large amount of attendees.
To try and get as many question/concerns answered (and give us some time to research if needed) ... we are asking you post below any questions, concerns, comments, etc you have.
To answer one question that I know a lot of people have: the golf course CCR's state for any building (including residential) to be built on the golf course, 100% of the homes bordering the course and 90% of the remaining Bellair homes would have to approve the redevelopment. This does not mean it can't happen. A judge has a lot of power to change these CCRs/deed restrictions/etc if they feel its best for the community/public.

Bellair Golf Course Information from the HOA Board.
Hello neighbors!
We know many of you are questioning and anxious about the golf course. Your Parks and Rec Board of Directors (Kelly, Josh, Dave, Rebecca, Wes, Rocky and Nick) are working hard to get you accurate information. Could you please make sure your email address is current and correct with our office? Please call Terri at 602-978-4097 to make sure.
Your board of directors are putting together a presentation that explains the current situation and possible options for our community. It will be shared through email. Thank you for your patience in this situation.
