Well the big day is finally here. Today Daniel and Britney Hughes and their daughter Georgia moved in as the new residents of The F***h House.
It was a wonderful day, with the garden in its full glory. Lee and I were exhausted and exhilarated. It has been a long hard three months since we met this great family, and now they are moved in! To those of you with a great attachment to The F***h House you should know that these two share our passion for this house and its history, they love its past and want to honor it. They will be great keepers of the flame for my friend Virginia F***h. She and her families impact on this great city and the Roosevelt neighborhood will continue to be documented and honored by them. Please feel free to stop by in a couple of weeks and introduce yourself if you are in the neighborhood, Share with them your memories of this house and encourage them to build their own memories.
As for Lee and I, we look forward to our next great adventure together. We have been blessed to add so many wonderful people to our family, and count you as some of our greatest treasures. This is our first big step in our bridge to retirement. We will keep you posted here, and hope you will all do the same.
