🪓🇺🇸Congrats to the Marine officer candidates from Northern Arizona University for their big win at the monthly physical conditioning event.
30 candidates from 4 universities across Arizona raced to the top of Bear Mountain in Sedona to be the first to plant their school's flag at the top.
Each month, the Arizona Marine Officer Selection Team hosts these events to ensure that all of the young men and women in the program are ready for the rigorous training at Marine Officer Candidate School.

Jonathan Dominguez has officially become a Marine Officer Candidate, slated to compete for selection to attend Officer Candidate School next January. In the coming months, preparation for the selection board will demand deepening rigorous physical training, and maintaining upright conduct in American society. The Marine Corps guards its gates, and Dominguez has earned his right to take the first steps into them.

Marine Officer Candidates charge through the Montford Point Challenge course in Quantico. The Montford Point Challenge is one of the final training events before graduation and commissioning, requiring the full strength of the Marine team. No one can carry the log alone.

Some of Arizona’s best graduated PLC Juniors this weekend. They will continue pursuit of their undergraduate degrees full time before returning to Brown Field where they will attend their second six weeks at PLC Seniors.

2ndLt Porter completed his degree from and is now a Marine Officer. He will report to The Basic School in a few months to learn the principles of tactics and Marine Officership.
