Technical Sergeant Beavers has proudly served 13 years in the Air National Guard, dedicating 12 years to Aircraft Maintenance before transitioning into recruiting this past year. His military career has provided the opportunity to travel to 22 different countries, creating experiences that continue to shape his perspective and service.

Originally from Houston, Texas, TSgt Beavers enjoys spending his time outside the uniform with his daughter, family, and close friends. His hobbies include working out and competing in bodybuilding shows, as well as a passion for sports cars, motorcycles, track racing, and jet skiing. He’s also an aquarium enthusiast and maintains a 150-gallon freshwater fish tank.

In his downtime, he enjoys cooking, grilling BBQ, and taking vacations. As a recruiter, TSgt Beavers takes pride in helping change lives, making an impact, and guiding others toward opportunities in the Air National Guard.

SSgt Valdez joined the Arizona Air National Guard in 2018 as a Supply Specialist with the Logistics Readiness Squadron. He has proudly served as a Wing Honor Guard member since 2021 and joined the Recruiting Team in May 2025, embracing the new journey of helping others find their path in the Guard.

Outside the uniform, SSgt Valdez competes in team roping events across Arizona. He is also a lifelong musician who enjoys playing mariachi and spending quality time with his family.

TSgt Lopez began her journey with the Arizona Air National Guard in 2012 as an Admin troop. For nearly eight years, she proudly served as part of the Commander Support Staff for the Aerospace Control Alert Detachment. In 2021, she joined the recruiting team and has been loving the adventure ever since.

Outside the uniform, TSgt Lopez is a proud wife to a police officer, mom of three (plus a Frenchie 🐾), and the ultimate sports mom on the sidelines. In her free time, she competes in bodybuilding and, when not at the gym or at tournaments, she loves nothing more than cozying up at home—the ultimate homebody.

After six years and two tours in the Middle East, TSgt Klein transitioned to the Tucson Air National Guard to continue serving while pursuing civilian employment opportunities. She joined the 162nd recruiting team full-time in 2019 and has been representing the wing ever since. In her free time, TSgt Klein enjoys baking, hiking, traveling, practicing Muay Thai, spending time with family and friends, and reading.

What an amazing drill weekend at the 162nd wing!! Our student flight members got an in depth tour of the base in preparation for their scavenger hunt next drill, they got up close and personal with the F16 in the hush house, knocked out mock PT tests, and finished off Sunday with Airmen’s hour. ✈️
