Walid's Fund

Walid’s Fund, under the supervision of Khaled Jurdi and training by Sheikh Khodor Nasr, completed a one-year beekeepers’ course in the Chouf area and held a dinner to honor the participating students. Beekeeping hives, clothes, and tools were also distributed.

Beekeeping is not only a noble act that helps protect the environment, but it also provides self-sustainability for these nine families. Each student was provided with tools, hives, and bees to start a new journey in the world of beekeeping.

We are proud of this great step and look forward to seeing its positive impact on society and the environment. Special thanks for the contribution of Tom Oliphant and Dr Willard White, we are committed that this program will be continued in different regions around Lebanon.

Celebrating the culmination of a year-long journey in Hasbaya, South Lebanon! 🌿 Witness the transformation of these inspiring adult students who have completed our program. Summer is over getting ready to complete our first honey making program for 2023. Each student will receive beehives, bees 🐝 and equipment to start their own honey making business. 💪🙆🏻‍♂️
