“This place is what encourages me to keep going when things seem overwhelming. I love you and I love it here so much. It feels like coming home.”

One of our long-time clients, Gina, shared these words after a mentoring session at Hope Women’s Center.

More women like Gina are coming to Hope looking for safety, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Summer in Arizona can be difficult for anyone. But for women already facing a crisis, the stress of triple-digit heat can make everyday life feel even more overwhelming.

As we prepare for summer temperatures, we are collecting important items for women and families across all Hope Women’s Center locations and Hope on the Road sites.

Most-needed items:

-Deodorant
-Bottled Water
-Electrolyte Drinks
-Sunscreen
-Body Wash
-Cooling Towels

Your support helps women and families stay safe during Arizona’s most difficult summer months.

Donated items can be dropped off at any Hope Women’s Center location or purchased through our Amazon Wish List : https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/D2JDE1VVBL2D

Thank you for helping remind women they are not alone.

We met Nadine at a local library, tired and scared.

She was trapped in an abusive relationship along with her children, living with a partner who controlled her life. The library was the one place she could find relief and safety.

There, Nadine realized she could receive the support she needed.

Every week, she came back to the library and met with our Hope on the Road staff. Together, they created a safety plan for her and her children.

Pushing back her fear, Nadine courageously left her abusive situation and began taking steps toward stability and freedom.

Last year, nearly 6,000 women who could not access one of our physical centers came to a Hope on the Road site for free services.

Nadine’s story is a reminder of why communities need easily accessible support. When women can safely connect with important resources in their own neighborhoods, lives and families change.

No woman should face a crisis alone.

Thank you to Mabry Foundation and Scottsdale Bible Church for furnishing our beautiful new South Phoenix Center! Your support is helping women and teen girls have a safe place to feel seen and cared for.

We are also incredibly thankful to the Mabry Foundation for providing a vehicle for our Hope on the Road mobile program, helping us reach more women facing a crisis in communities across Arizona.

We couldn't do what we do without the support of our community! THANK YOU💙

A huge thank you to WINI for their generous support of Hope Women’s Center! Their grant is helping us provide services to more women while also furnishing the kids’ rooms at our West Phoenix and South Phoenix locations.

With their partnership, more moms and children can learn, heal, and find community at Hope. 💙

As we celebrate moms this month, we are so thankful for those who come to Hope looking for support and someone to walk with them through their difficult seasons.

Ashley is a single mom of four young kids, doing everything alone after moving across the country.

Through our ĒMA (Every Mother's Advocate) program, Ashley was paired with an advocate who met with her each week, listening, encouraging her, and helping her with her next steps. Recently, Ashley has started our free counseling program because she knows she needs this kind of support. The goal of ĒMA is to help mothers find stability and keep families together.

National Prevention Week is taking place from May 10-16, 2026, an annual event hosted by SAMHSA to raise awareness about the power of prevention in mental health and substance misuse.

According to SAMHSA, prevention doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens when people feel safe, supported, and connected.

At Hope, we provide a safe place for support and connection every day.

Our trauma-informed programs offer:

• Free professional counseling
• One-on-one mentoring
• Life skills and parenting classes
• Celebrate Recovery & substance use disorder prevention

We believe prevention starts with support, community and hope. Please visit hopewomenscenter.org for a center near you.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, you can also call the SAMHSA National Helpline 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or the 988 Lifeline can be called, texted, or chatted with for support.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Hope Women’s Center! 🌷

We loved celebrating moms at our Hike for Hope: Moms Rock Edition and seeing our community show up to honor and support them. Whether you’re a biological mom, adoptive mom, stepmom, or a mother figure, we see you and celebrate you. We also know today can be hard. If you are missing your mom or your child, we are thinking of you and standing with you in love.

Our monthly needs list is here!🎉

Every day, women and teen girls who come to Hope earn points by participating in our programs that provide education, healing, and community.

She then uses those points to "shop" in our center boutiques for essential items like food, toiletries, and clothing. This empowers her to provide not only for herself but also for her children and family.

We are so thankful for our community and your generosity. Because of you, women are getting the essential items they need for a more stable tomorrow.

You can drop off donations at any local Hope Women’s Center. Visit https://www.hopewomenscenter.org/center-locations/ for a location near you.
