SHOW will be hosting its end-of-semester Monday, April 24th, from 3-5 PM. All are welcome to join us in celebrating the students and community! 💙♥️

💙 This week, the student team collaborated with and Chamberlain Nursing students to ensure community members’ voices are heard through the Maricopa Public Health Community Needs Assessment ♥️

This past Monday, students hosted the Brain Game 🧠 at Creating Hope AZ!
After taking a personality quiz, the clients and students participated in activities that allowed everyone to utilize their strengths and become more aware of approaches to those with different traits to lead their through various obstacles. So much fun! 💙♥️

This team of IP Champions will be hosting a workshop on activating interprofessional practice thru innovative education (and, of course, throwing in a fun activity…or two) ♥️

Halfway through the semester, the HCR/CRD 471 student team has engaged with 71 clients so far!

Last week, the students gathered for midterm check-in to discuss their individual and team progress working with community members to deliver activities.

This week, services resumed at Creating Hope AZ and the teams hosted a Pictionary Storytelling activity to highlight the culture and background of the groups.

Check it out! 💙 students from HCR/CRD 471 Interprofessional Education & Community Health hosted Left Vs. Right Brain activities – building spaghetti/marshmallow towers, making music in a drum circle, assembling Lego kits, and playing a matching game – with the clients at Creating Hope AZ! ♥️

Happy (belated) Valentine’s Day from all of us 💕
Monday marked the Spring 2023 semester’s first day of service with the clients of Creating Hope AZ! The activity focused on . Everyone decorated “love boxes” and wrote affirmations to themselves and others in the room. Can’t wait to be back next week 💙

Check it out! 💙 Last Monday, students from the HCR/CRD 471 Interprofessional Education & Community Health class completed a team-based communication challenge with Legos – only one student has the answer key and must lead the others to success.
SHOW Alumni also hosted a Q&A Panel to prepare the new cohort of students for , , and .

Check it out! 💙 This past Monday, students from the HCR/CRD 471 Interprofessional Education & Community Health class completed a challenge centered on understanding and addressing . Students were blinded, muted, or motionless in the activity, and had to work together to construct a crossword puzzle representing SHOW and the competencies ♥️
