Join our library team! If you thrive in a dynamic environment where your keen eye for detail and ability to adapt can be utilized to your full potential, then our Library Page position is for you!

Utilize your skills to help keep the library’s appearance neat and orderly by ensuring all library materials are in their proper place. Library pages positively impact our day-to-day operations!

Children 8-12 years old are invited to join us once a month to create Fantastic Art! We will look at different mediums and techniques of art at each meeting. This month's project is Oil Pastel Painting. For children 8-12 years olds. Registration link is in the first comment.

Jungle Jill will provide an interactive experience bringing 8 different animals from around the world, ranging from reptiles, amphibians, birds, and other cool invertebrates such as insects and arachnids. Amazing adaptations will be revealed about each animal. Some audience volunteers will be selected to help with a few animals throughout the show! For All Ages.

Bringing reading opportunities to children who would benefit from the interaction with a therapy animal, Tender Little Hearts Mini Tales will be available for children to read to miniature registered therapy horses and donkeys. Working with these animals will inspire children to develop their reading skills and install confidence in what they can accomplish. For Children 4 years old and up. Love to draw and color? Pick up an entry form from the Front Desk for this year's Summer Reading Art Contest. Participants will design the artwork for a bookmark based on the theme: Unearth a Story. We will focus on dinosaurs, paleontology, archaeology and the joy of discovery. Return entry form by March 30th. Four winners will receive a $50.00 gift card to Harkins Theater provided by the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library. For Grades K-8th.

See it to believe it! Then question everything with amazing optical illusions! Can your eyes play tricks on you? Join 4 Peaks Kids, LLC in this fun, hands-on lesson all about optical illusions. Discover how your brain and eyes work together and sometimes get fooled! Create a trick or two to take home. For children 6-11 years old. Registration link in first comment. We had a special guest today! Supervisor Thomas Galvin stopped by to speak with the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library about their work for the library and community, as well as donate some books! He also had the chance to tour our library and learn about all we offer. Thank you for visiting our library, Supervisor Galvin!
