Arizona's Children Association has been rooted in this state since the very beginning, and azcentral.com is telling that story. We're honored to be featured in The Arizona Republic today, sharing how our mission to support children and families in foster and kinship care has grown across all 15 counties in Arizona. Thank you to all of our dedicated supporters and staff who have made this work possible. π

π On behalf of our Parents as Teachers program and all our Parent Educators, we would like to congratulate the children graduating from our program who are now ready to start Kindergarten.
At Arizona's Children Association, our Parents As Teachers (PAT) program is an evidence-based home visiting program that partners trained Parent Educators with families from birth all the way through Kindergarten readiness. We work alongside parents and caregivers to support early learning, healthy development, and strong foundations that last a lifetime.

This National Foster Care Month, we recognize the families, foster parents, and supporters who help create safe and loving environments for children in need.
Every child deserves a safe place to sleep, caring adults they can trust, and the chance to heal and thrive. Through foster families and community support, those life-changing moments become possible.
This year alone, 159 children found safe placements through Arizonaβs Children Association, but more children are still waiting.
Your support helps us:
- Recruit and train foster families
- Provide ongoing support to keep placements stable
- Give children and families the resources they need to heal and thrive
As we honor 114 years of service, we invite you to be part of the story.
Whether through fostering, donating, or sharing our mission, one βyesβ can make all the difference.

For 114 years, our organization has believed every child deserves a safe and loving home. Families like Cathy and Pete's show us what that belief looks like in action.
Cathy and Pete have been licensed foster parents since May 2018 and have adopted three children out of foster care. They prioritize the best interests of the child and work to maintain a relationship with the biological parents. When one of their former foster children was reunified with her mother, Cathy and Pete remained involved in her life, providing support to the family.
Their children are aware of their own stories, and their home is built on love, honesty, and community.
Kelsey, their licensing worker, nominated them for the FACT Blue Ribbon Award, and we are honored to celebrate their dedication.
This is what our mission looks like in real life. π

In May 1912, a group of women gathered at the First Christian Church of Tucson. They had just learned that orphaned Arizona children were being transported to California simply because no one in Arizona had stepped up. So they did. They drafted bylaws, rallied their community, and founded what would become Arizona's Children Association.
114 years later, we're still here. Still showing up. Still believing every child deserves a safe, stable, and loving home.
This Foster Care Month, help us carry that legacy forward. Every gift, every shared post, every family that says yes makes the next 114 years possible.

Celebrating the littlest members of our community!
On April 11th, our Yuma Foster Care and Parent Education Services team had a wonderful time tabling at the Yuma County Week of the Young Child event. We connected with families, shared resources, and joined in a day full of joy, culture, and play.
It takes a whole community to support our children β and we're proud to be part of yours. π
