📚 PVSchools Override Election: Join us and vote YES on both overrides

🗳️ General Election: November 3, 2026
📬 Early voting begins: October 7, 2026

ℹThis November, Paradise Valley Unified School District voters will see two override measures on the ballot: the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Override and the District Additional Assistance (DAA) Override. These measures concern the continuation of existing funding used by PVSchools.

✅The Paradise Valley United Parent Council (PV UPC) reports that these overrides provide funding our schools currently rely on and that continuation of the overrides would NOT increase the district tax rate. PV UPC has formally announced its support for both measures through its Yes! for PV Students initiative.

As a school community, it’s important for families to understand what is on the ballot and how these funding measures affect YOUR PVSchools and YOUR community. Take a few minutes to learn about the M&O and DAA overrides, review the information, and make an informed decision.

📣 PVUSD Parents,

Did you know that the United Parent Council (UPC) hosts monthly meetings to help families stay informed, connected, and involved in our school district?

These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to:

📚 Learn about important topics impacting PVUSD students and schools
💬 Hear updates from district leadership
🙋‍♀️ Ask questions and share your perspective
🤝 Connect with parents and families from across the district

All parents and community members are welcome! Whether you’re new to PVUSD or have been part of our school community for years, we encourage you to get involved.

📅 Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of each month during the school year.
OCT 21st is the next meeting, all about the Middle School and High School process and offerings.
