A big thank you to Ms. Kat and the BASIS Scottsdale students who joined us for their Service Project Week! 💛
Students toured our campus to learn more about UMOM’s mission, then rolled up their sleeves to volunteer in our Threads of Hope clothing closet, helping organize donations that support the families and individuals we serve.
We’re so grateful for young people who choose to spend their time learning, serving, and making a difference in their community. Thank you, BASIS Scottsdale!

Today is International Day of Families, a reminder that every family deserves a safe place to call home.
At UMOM, we see every day how quickly rising housing costs, limited affordable housing, and unexpected life events can push families into crisis. But we also see what’s possible when families have the steady support they need.
That’s why we’re launching our Shelter Helper campaign today. Learn about how you can help a family find lasting stability.

This Mother’s Day, our campus was filled with color, creativity, and so much joy! 💐
Families came together for a special arts and crafts activity where kids, parents, and volunteers created handmade gifts for the mothers and loved ones in their lives. From paper bouquets and colorful scratch art to crayons, gems, and construction paper, it was beautiful to see people of all ages get lost in the simple joy of making something by hand.
We also had a free book popup, and it was a hit! 📚 Kids and adults sifted through titles and walked away with stacks of books to read and enjoy.
Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped make this day so special. 💛
