Walk-a-Thon is Friday, October 2nd

This is SSHA's largest fundraiser of the year, and we need your help to MEET OUR GOAL OF 100% PARTICIPATION!

All of the funds raised will go directly to Schuylkill School & Home Association (SSHA) to benefit our teachers and students. Last year, with proceeds from Walk-a-thon, SSHA was able to:
• Supply new students with Schuylkill t-shirts to show their Schuylkill pride
• Provide school assemblies and Authors Day for our students
• Support our veterans with a Veteran's Day parade and luncheon
• Provide food for a Student Appreciation Barbeque during Field Day (this was a huge hit!)
• Provide lemonade to each student as a thank you for participating in Alex's Lemonade Stand
• Provide dinner for all teachers and staff during Fall and Winter parent/teacher conferences
• Provide a coffee bar and lunches for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week as well as other special treats throughout the year to show our staff how much we love them.

This is naming only a few, but with your donation, we can make even more happen!

We are asking for each student to raise $35 in pledges.

*Pledges are not required to participate, and any amount is appreciated.

SAVE THE DATE! The SSHA Spring Fair is Friday, May 8th!

Join us for a night of family fun, food, games, and of course ... DUNK TANKS! Here are the details:
WHEN: Friday, May 8th from 5:00pm - 7:30pm
WHERE: On the Schuylkill Elementary playground behind the school

Raffle Baskets:
This year, each grade level is putting together a themed basket for the raffle. Families have the opportunity to donate items (see our Linktree for details https://linktr.ee/schuylkillSSHA). This year's themes are:
* ☀️ 2nd Grade: Fun in the Sun
* 🍿 3rd Grade: Movie Night
* 🏈 4th Grade: Game On
* 🔥 5th Grade: Grill & Chill
* 🎲 6th Grade: Trendy

🍕 Food:
We'll have all of our usual fan favorites available for purchase -- hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, bagged snacks, ice cream, and water ice.

🎈 Entry Fee:
$5 per person

📢 School Store Reminder! 📢

Hey Schuylkill Elementary families! Just a reminder that the last School Store of the year will be open this Thursday, April 16th, during lunch! 🎉

Students can shop for fun and useful items, so don’t forget to send them with a few dollars if they’d like to pick something up!
