I want to thank everyone who helped us load and write down names for the Summer Feeding program.
We handed out 16920 total meals. That means we loaded 3384 food boxes for the kids in our area.
Thank you all for showing up and hope we do it again next summer.
Pickens Helping Hands Food Pantry.
Be sure and thank a volunteer when you see them.

Tomorrow, Monday September 21st at 6pm, we will be having a community meeting at the Pickens Library. We will be discussing a fish fry fundraiser for our food bank. The main reason for this meeting will be to help plan the event & get volunteers to help with the fish fry as well as help gathering donations of food etc. We'd like community feedback on how to make the most of this fundraiser! We LOVE serving our community & now, we need the communities help to make this a success. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow evening. Thank you!
