WREN HIGH SCHOOL HAS MADE HISTORY!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding milestone for our Hurricanes! Wren High has earned an 82 on our South Carolina School Report Card and received an Excellent rating! Wren High teachers rolled up their sleeves this morning during our PD Day, collaborating to create Essential Standards Mastery Plans focused on helping ALL students succeed! Teachers developed strategies for intervention and additional support for students not yet proficient, while also planning ways to extend learning for students who have mastered the standards.

Proud of the work happening at Wren High as we continue doing what’s best for every student!

A HUGE congratulations to Wren High School students Caius Bernarducci and Caleb Morrison for being selected for the SCMEA Region II Honors Orchestras!

Caius was selected for Cello in the 9–10 Honors Orchestra, and Caleb was selected for Double Bass in the 11–12 Senior Honors Orchestra. This is an incredible accomplishment! More than 200 students from Greenville, Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee counties auditioned this past Saturday for a spot in the Region Orchestra. Caius and Caleb have dedicated countless hours outside of school to practicing and preparing, and we are so proud to see their hard work pay off.

Their selection also gives them the opportunity to audition for the SCMEA All-State Orchestra in January.

Congratulations, Caius and Caleb! We are so proud to have you representing Wren High School!

Wren High School students participated in Part 1 of the Anderson County Career Development Workshop today! Students had the opportunity to connect with local industry professionals while building valuable skills in interviewing, resume writing, professionalism, and workplace soft skills.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that help prepare our students for success beyond the classroom and give them meaningful connections with professionals in our community. We’re looking forward to Part 2!

Our PE 1 students are stretching, strengthening, and learning in their yoga unit!

Students are learning about the importance of flexibility and how it contributes to their overall health and wellness. They are creating yoga picture collages featuring 8 poses they are proficient in, demonstrating both their physical ability and their cognitive understanding of each pose.

We love seeing our students learn, move, and take ownership of their health and wellness!
