Song I wrote lastnight for my beautiful wife.

09/03/2026

It is with great sadness that I must announce the passing of my beautiful wife Charlotte.

She began her journey with our Lord Monday from my arms in our home.

She went very quickly and was at total peace, her pain was no more.

Her courageous battle was now over and her faith shined brighter than it had ever before.

Charlotte told me she was leaving and squeezed me so tight until she was gone.

All that knew Charlotte will miss her and hopefully, we'll all be reunited again in Heaven.

A service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at College Heights Baptist Church, located at 411 Rabbittown Rd, Glencoe, AL 35905

The family is grateful for all your love and support during her battle and can really used it now at this difficult time.

God bless you all.

Take part in remembering Charlotte Darlene DeForest. Read her obituary, share your own memories, and learn about any funeral details on Ever Loved.
