Museum Mystery Monday! Here is another photo from the museum with no identifiers. Doesn't appear to be too old, judging by the vehicles in the background. Any idea on who the troopers are and where this photo was taken?

Craig A Robertson, a follower from Western Maryland, was kind enough to send along a few vintage photos from Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack. Thank you, Craig, much appreciated! We love these old photos from days gone by.

The first STATE team, photo submitted by Shawn Grove. His brother, Keith Kerr, was a member of this fine looking group. He is in the first row, 3rd from the left. Sadly Keith passed away in 1983. Shawn thinks the photo was taken in the late 1970's. Who do you recognize in this photo? Thank you Shawn for sending this our way!

A wonderful tribute to one of MSP’s fallen heroes! Gone, but never forgotten. 💙

This week’s Tribute Tuesday honors Mickey Lippy TFC ’92, a Calvert Hall graduate, Maryland State Police Trooper First Class, and Flight Paramedic who dedicated his life to helping others.

At Calvert Hall, Mickey played football and lacrosse and was named the 1991 Maryland Scholastic Association Offensive Player of the Year. He went on to serve as a firefighter and paramedic before joining the Maryland State Police Aviation Command in 2007.

In September 2008, Mickey lost his life while serving as a Flight Paramedic during a medical transport mission in Prince George’s County. Earlier that month, he received the Maryland State Police Life Saving Award for his actions in saving a patient’s life.

Mickey’s legacy also lives on through the Mickey C. Lippy ’92 Memorial Scholarship, established in 2011 by members of his graduating class. The scholarship provides need-based tuition assistance to current Calvert Hall students in memory of their classmate.

Mickey’s courage, compassion, and commitment to serving others, is remembered through the lasting impact he continues to have on the Calvert Hall community.

Museum Mystery Monday Photo #3 - A quick refresher on MMM. The posted photos are from the MSP Museum. They have no information, no names, no year, and no class number. The goal is to identify the photos so the museum docent can properly catalogue them.
📸 🕵
The photo appears to have been taken inside the MSP Gymnasium @ Pikesville. Do you recognize anyone in this photo?
