Appliance Buy Back Success!

We are excited to share that our appliance buy back program has officially wrapped up-and what a success it was!
1,520 old appliances collected!

We were able to collect appliances from five different locations throughout Pike County, making it easier for residents across the county to participate and keep unwanted appliances out of the waste stream.

A huge thank you to Pike County Solid Waste and the Pike County Road Department for allowing us to use their facilities and for providing employees to help with the collection and transporting the metal to the scrap yard. Your support and hard work help make this event possible.

We also want to thank everyone in our community who brought in an old appliance and helped make this program such a success. Every appliance collected is one more step toward a cleaner, healthier Pike County.

Thank you, Pike County, for helping the Pike County Conservation District make a difference.
