Congratulations to Scooby, Reese, Ponyo, Nugget, Gracie, Gidget, Bruno, Bagheera, Toast, and Gravy! 🎊

Each one of these sweet souls deserves a life filled with love, comfort, full bellies, cozy beds, and people who will cherish them forever. We couldn’t be happier that they’re getting their chance at a happily ever after! ❤️

🎾🐾 IF THERE’S ONE THING TO KNOW ABOUT QUIZNO, IT’S THAT HE’S THE KING OF PLAYTIME! 👑❤️

This boy is ALWAYS ready to play! Give him a toy, some room to run, and a little attention, and Quizno is in his element. 🥹💙

But behind all that energy is a dog who has been waiting far too long for someone to choose him.

💔 Quizno is our LONGEST RESIDENT.

He was adopted once, and we were so excited for him! He needed to be neutered before he could head home with his new family. But after his surgery, his adopters never came back to pick him up. 😭💔

And just like that, Quizno was back where he started… waiting for someone else to give him a chance.

He’s still here. Still playing. Still hoping. Still waiting for his person.

SPRITZ IS SCARED, AND SHE NEEDS SOMEONE TO SAVE HER FROM THIS PLACE.

Sweet little Spritz is just a puppy. She should be learning about the world, playing with toys, soaking up affection, and discovering how wonderful life can be. Instead, she’s stuck in a shelter environment that has completely overwhelmed her. 😭

Spritz is a small mixed-breed girl who has not handled shelter life well at all. She’s so frightened that she tries to hide underneath her bed, desperately looking for somewhere to feel safe.

Think about that for a moment. She’s not asking for much. She’s just a baby who is scared, confused, and desperately wants to feel safe.

💔 Spritz needs out of the shelter. And she needs out NOW.

We know the shelter is a scary place. The unfamiliar noises, the barking, the constant activity. For a little girl like Spritz, it’s simply too much. We worry about what each day in this environment is doing to her little spirit.

Some dogs adjust to shelter life. Others, like Spritz, shut down. And the longer she stays, the more we worry that the world will continue to feel like a scary place instead of the wonderful place it could be.

She needs someone willing to give her a chance. Someone patient enough to let her decompress, gentle enough to earn her trust, and loving enough to show her that she doesn’t have to be afraid forever.

She doesn’t need someone to expect her to be the perfect, confident puppy on day one. She needs someone who understands that sometimes the most frightened dogs need the most patience.

⚠️ A HEARTBREAKING REALITY OF ANIMAL CONTROL ⚠️

Yesterday morning, a deceased dog was found wrapped in a sheet, stuffed inside a suitcase, and placed in a dumpster behind a local business on Dollarway Rd.

Let that sink in for a moment.

We know these situations are difficult to hear about, but we believe in being transparent with our community. These are the realities of what we deal with at Pine Bluff Animal Control. Behind every call, every intake, and every animal that comes through our doors, there are situations that are heartbreaking, disturbing, and difficult to process.

Every animal deserves dignity, compassion, and humane treatment, even in death. No animal deserves to be discarded this way.

We are sharing this because our community deserves to know what is happening, and because animal welfare is a community issue that requires all of us to care, speak up, and take action.
